Notice of Continuance of
Public Zoning Hearing
The following application intended to be heard at the Springfield Township Zoning Hearing scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. has been continued at the request of the applicant until the July 22, 2019 Hearing. At that time the below application is expected to be presented:
380 Haws, LP, 150 McCloskey Rd., Flourtown, PA 19038 is requesting the following variances for the properties at 380 & 402 Haws La., Flourtown, PA 19031,T.M.P. # 520008452009 & 520008455007:
Variance from sec. 114-8D1 to allow multiple dwelling use in the Institutional District.
Variance from sec. 114-8D5.B to increase maximum impervious coverage from 40% to 54% of lot area.
Variance from sec. 114-134.A to decrease required off-street parking from 200 spaces to 167 spaces.
This property located in the Institutional district was previously granted relief to allow the construction of a 107 unit retirement home. If the above-noted relief is granted the applicant is proposing to accumulate the lots into a single 4.7 acre tract and construct a 100 unit, age-restricted multiple dwelling.
