Biography:
Commissioner Bell was elected to the Board of Commissioners in 2011 and currently serves as the liaison to both the Planning Commission and Environmental Advisory Commission.
Mr. Bell is a licensed real estate broker and owner of Richard J. Bell Realtor in Flourtown. He served in the United States Navy from 1970 - 1974, and the United States Naval Reserve from 1992 - 2011.
Prior to joining the Board of Commissioners, Mr. Bell served as Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, and was active with the Flourtown Fire Company and Flourtown-Erdenheim Little League. Mr. Bell has also volunteered as a CYO football coach for St. Genevieve's Church and was Senior Vice Commander of the Chestnut Hill VFW Lodge 5205.
