MONDAY, OCTOBER 9th

10:00 AM – Storytime Terrific 2’s & 3’s – Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and fun! For ages 18 to 36 months with a caregiver. No registration required. Supports PA Forward's Basic Literacy.

12:15 PM – Mah Jongg – Get together for the ever challenging game of Mah Jongg! Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Knitters’ Group – We now have two options for knit and crochet enthusiasts! Join the group at the library for knitting, crocheting, and conversation. Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

7:00 PM– Socrates’ Café – Join in the conversation, be it political, religious or whatever comes to mind. Share your thoughts, experiences and viewpoints while meeting new people. Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10th

10:00 AM – Storytime Playful Preschool (3+) – Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and fun! For ages 3 years and up with a caregiver. No registration required. Supports PA Forward's Basic Literacy.

3:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Teen Time – Teens entering grades 6 to 12 are welcome to come to the library for Teen Time every Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Play trivia, eat snacks, hang out, and play games! We're always open to teen suggestions for activities! Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM – Tail Waggin’ Tutors – Children in grades K to 6 are invited to read aloud to a certified therapy dog to help build reading confidence! Registration is required; please call the library to sign up for a 10-minute time slot. Supports PA Forward's Basic Literacy.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11th

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Pinochle Group – Whether you’re a beginner or experienced but a bit out of practice, join in the fun! Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

12:15 PM – Mah Jongg – Get together for the ever challenging game of Mah Jongg! Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Lego Club – Children ages 4 and up are invited to spark their imagination and build to their heart’s content with our vast collection of Legos. Drop in anytime during the 90-minute period. Lego creations will be saved from week to week and displayed on the library shelves!

10:00 AM – Storytime Wonderful 1’s – Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and fun! For ages birth to 24 months with a caregiver. No registration required. Supports PA Forward's Basic Literacy.

12:15 PM – Mah Jongg – Join in on the challenging game of Mah Jongg! Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

4:00 PM – YO-YO Club – Do you play yo-yo or want to learn how? Come hang out with other yo-yo players, learn tips and tricks, and discover how to get started. The library has yo-yos you can use if you don't have your own. No registration required. Supports PA Forward's Health Literacy.

7:00 PM – 8:45 PM – Medicare Open Enrollment Info Session – Need to learn about the open enrollment process? Come to this info session to get your questions answered. Presented by APPRISE volunteer Al Toizer. Please call the library at 215-836-5300 to reserve a spot. Supports PA Forward's Health Literacy and Financial Literacy

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13th

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Duplo Play Day – Drop in to build with our collection of Duplos! Recommended for ages 2 and up.

1:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Bridge – Play the challenging card game of bridge at the library. Newcomers with previous knowledge of the game are welcome. Supports PA Forward's Civic & Social Literacy.

2:00 PM – Movie Matinee – PATERSON – Paterson is a bus driver in the city of Paterson, New Jersey--they share the name. Every day, Paterson adheres to a simple routine and goes home to his wife, Laura. By contrast, Laura's world is ever changing. Rated R, starring Adam Driver.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14th – OPEN 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
