Knowing our strengths (what we are good at, what we bring to the world) is a pivotal part of building self esteem and living in the world confidently.  When we know the gifts we have to give in the world, we know what gives us life, what feeds us and what helps us create a meaningful life of purpose. In this session, children will learn to identify the gifts they bring to the world, how to use their gifts in the world, to understand that everyone has a different gift, and how to realize that each person can shine in their gifts.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9TH

1:15 PM – International Film Club Screening – Chittagong (India) – For its next screening Cine Club of PA will proudly present Chittagong, a historical revolutionary resistance drama (in Hindi with English subtitles, India), directed by Mr. Bredabrata Pain. The plot is set against the backdrop of a little-known saga in 1930s British East Bengal (now Bangladesh) where a group of students, led by a schoolteacher Master-da Surya Sen, a well-known Bengali revolutionary (portrayed by Mr. Manoj Bajpeyee) dared to take on the Empire. The film revolves around 14-year-old Jhunku (portrayed by Delzad Hiwale) a reluctant teenager with self-doubts getting involved in an impossible mission to achieve an improbable triumph.
