Monday, March 11th
10:00 AM – Storytime – Terrific 2’s and 3’s! For children ages 2 and up, with a caregiver. Come in and hear a story, sing a song and have some fun!
12:15 PM – Mah Jong – Get together for the ever challenging game of Mah Jong! Card required.
1:00 – 3:00 PM –Knitters’ Group – Pick up that unfinished project and join in the fun!
4:30 -5:30 PM – Picture Book Art - Make a fun art project in the style of a picture book illustrator. Taught by local artist Maura Matthews. Suggested for children ages 4 to 7. Registration is required as space is limited.
6:30 – 7:30 PM – Tail Waggin’ Tutors – Children in grades K to 6 can read aloud to a certified therapy dog to help build reading confidence! Registration is required.
7:00 PM – Socrates’ Café – Join in the conversation, be it political, religious or whatever comes to mind. Share your thoughts, experiences and viewpoints while meeting new people.
Tuesday, March 12th
10:00 AM – Storytime – Playful Preschool – For children ages 3 and older, with a caregiver. Stories, songs and rhymes add up to a fun morning!
3:00 PM – Teen Time – Back to school, back to the Library! Come in for the fun, stay for the snacks! Meet your friends and make new ones here after school playing games of trivia and brain challenges!
7:00 PM – Pinochle – Add extra fun to your Tuesday nights! Come in and play a hand of pinochle with some friends, new or old! Intermediate level play, single deck. Please arrive on time for maximum card time. No registration required, adults only.
Wednesday, March 13th
11:00 – 1:00 PM – Pinochle – Beginner to advanced, join in the fun!
12:15 PM – Mah Jong – Get together for the ever challenging game of Mah Jong!
4:00 – 5:00 PM – Afternoon Book Club – This month’s discussion is centered on the book by James Baldwin, “Go Tell It on the Mountain”. Come in and share your thoughts on this semi-autobiographic novel based in Harlem in the 1930’s.
6:30 PM – Knit Night – Grab your needles and come in and finish that project! Knit and chat away ‘til we close up at 9!
Thursday, March 14th
10:00 AM – Storytime – Wonderful 1’s – For children from birth to 24 months and caregiver. Stories, music and fun!
12:15 PM – Mah Jong – Join in on the challenging game of Mah Jong! Card required.
3:00 – 4:00 PM – Exploring with Ed Talk – Join us at the new time and day for the always interesting talk by our own reference librarian, Ed! This month’s talk is based on the topic of how and why some peoples have migrated.

Friday, March 15th
10:00 – 4:00 PM – Duplo Play Day – Come in and let your little ones build a creation from our Duplo collection! For ages 2 years to 6 years
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Pinochle – Different day, same fun!! Join us and learn to work your card skills!
1:30 – 3:30 PM – Bridge – Come in, meet new friends and challenge your brain!
2:00 PM – Movie Matinee – Join us for a Friday comedy as we show the PG-13 movie featuring Eddie Murphy as a fast-talking salesman, willing to say anything to make a deal! When his life depends on silence, hilarity ensues!
Saturday, March 16th
10:15 AM – 2:15 PM – Computerized Investing Group - Join this investing group dedicated to the art and science of technical analysis. Learn about stock charts and indicators from the group members. All levels of understanding from inexperienced to seasoned are welcome! No registration required
10:30 – 11:30 AM – Saturday Storytime - Join us for a special Saturday edition of stories, songs, rhymes, and fun! Suggested for children ages 2 to 5 with a caregiver. No registration required.
Sunday, March 17th – Library hours are 1-4 pm.
