- About Us
The U.S. Census Bureau is currently engaged in an effort to hire thousands of field-based and office employees to conduct the 2020 Census. In Montgomery County alone, the census bureau is seeking approximately 5,000 applicants to fill temporary positions that offer a competitive wage of between $24.50 and $27.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement. The jobs are ideal for active retirees, stay at home parents, college students and others seeking extra income.

Why Does the Census Matter?
Participating in the Census and helping to ensure an accurate count of every resident in the Township and Montgomery County is important for the future of our community. The Census is used by the federal and state government to determine where funding will be spent, political representation and districts, and funding amounts for community-based organizations.
