Military Banners

Information for Military Banners

Military banners were debuted in parts of Wyndmoor, Flourtown, and Oreland during Spring 2023. These banners were part of an Eagle Scout project aimed at honoring hometown heroes who have served in the armed forces. This project is now being run by Arthur V. Savage Post 100 (American Legion) in Wyndmoor.

Interested in Purchasing a Banner?

The Military Banner program is seasonal, and registration for the 2023 season is closed. The Arthur V. Savage Post 100 is preparing their program for 2024, and will open registration in the Fall of 2023. Beginning in late September, those interested in securing a banner should email alpost100@verizon.net to be put on a waitlist and continue checking the Post's website, arthurvsavagepost100.org, for ordering availability. Pricing will be determined by the Post.

In order to get a banner, the Post will need the following information:

  • A clear picture of the person (which will be directly uploaded onto the site)
