2026 Township Budget Information
At the December 10, 2025 Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Springfield Township, the Board conducted a Budget Hearing and voted to adopt the 2026 Operating Budget for the Township. The video of the hearing can be viewed here.
The 2026 Real Estate Millage Rate increased from 4.560 mills to 5.008 mills and is just the second such increase since 2021. As a result of the increase in the millage rate, the typical household with a $175,400 property assessment will realize an increase of $62.79 to their real estate tax. An increase of $8.24 is also proposed for refuse and recycling services. Explore the documents below for more information about the 2026 Budget.
