Springfield Township's seven-member Board of Commissioners is the governing body of the community.

Springfield Township is governed by an elected body organized under the First Class Township Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Board of Commissioners consists of seven elected officials, each serving a four-year term.

MEETING TIME & LOCATION

The Springfield Township Board of Commissioners meet on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. and the preceding Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Administration Building located at 1510 Paper Mill Road, Wyndmoor, PA 19038.

In accordance with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Law, Act 84 of 1986, notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Springfield Township, Montgomery County, PA, will hold a special meeting on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 7:00 PM to consider authorizing an appeal to the decision of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of PA, in the matter of PA State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police, et. al. versus Township of Springfield, et. al, Civil Action No. 23-332-KSM.  No other business shall be conducted.  The meeting will be held in the Springfield Township Building, 1510 Paper Mill Road, Wyndmoor, PA.
