I found someone's dog/cat. What do I do?

Check the animal for any tags indicating the owners identity or contact information. If no tags are found, take the animal to the local SPCA to be screened for a microchip. In the meantime, posting on social media and/or putting up flyers can help the pet get back to its owner.Â
