Readers of all ages are invited to join the library’s summer reading program! Studies show that reading over the summer helps keep our brains active and learning. Participants can track the reading they do this summer to earn prizes. Programs available for babies, children, teens, and adults. Pre-registration begins on June 7 and the program runs from June 14 through August 15. You can sign up at any time during the program.

Children and teens can keep track of the days they read and other activities they do to earn virtual badges, activity packs, and free books. Adults can keep track of the books they read and submit book reviews to be entered into prize drawings.

If you prefer to use a paper log, stop by the library and ask for one. All kinds of reading counts! Books, e-books, audiobooks, magazines, etc. Whatever you like to read or listen to can count towards your reading this summer. The library also plans to hold outdoor and virtual events this summer, as well as offer activities and crafts to pick up and create at home. Keep an eye on our website for more details.
