Solar Photovoltaic Project - Springfield Township Municipal Campus

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Springfield Township, Montgomery County, PA, will receive sealed proposals until 10:00 AM, on Friday, July 11, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the Solar Photovoltaic Project. 

The scope of work includes all solar engineering, permitting, supply and installation of equipment, including, without limitation, modules, racking, inverters, conductors, conduit/protection, tie-in to the electrical service of the facilities, integration of the new solar electric meter(s), any further onsite electrical infrastructure/upgrades and interconnection efforts that may be required to furnish a fully functional system. Respondents are encouraged to submit under two costs proposal structures described as Option 1 and Option 2. Option 1 represents the direct purchase of the solar array from the Respondent.  Option 2 represents the Township entering a power purchase agreement with the Respondent.

A Mandatory Pre-bid meeting and on-site visit will be held at the Springfield Township Administration Building, 1510 Paper Mill Road Wyndmoor, PA  19038 on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM.

Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: “Proposal Submission for Solar Photovoltaic Project”.
