Edwin Thompson, 1949-2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our reference librarian, Ed Thompson, on Thursday, June 19th. Ed loved his role here at the library: talking with people, moderating the Socrates Club, giving his "Exploring with Ed" talks, and sharing his natural curiosity about life. He will be greatly missed by all.
Contributions in Ed's name can be made to the Friends of the Free Library of Springfield Township or the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts.
