The Montgomery County Board of Elections recently announced the polling locations for the upcoming Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

In order to assist residents, Springfield Township has updated its Voting & Polling Places Page on the Township website to include links to State and County Voter Services and Mail-In Ballot Drop Box Locations. The Township's interactive map that residents can use to find their polling place for the 2021 Municipal Election has also been updated.

Residents should note that where you voted in previous years or for the 2021 Primary Election may not necessarily be where you need to go in order to vote in the General Election. Please check with State, County, or Local officials to confirm your polling place for the election on November 2, 2021.

Important Dates:*

October 26th: For those choosing to vote by mail, this is the last day to apply for a mail-in ballot. Officials are urging voters to apply immediately to ensure adequate turnaround. Voters can also check the status of their mail-in ballot online by visiting The ballot status will update when the Election Board has received it.

November 2nd: Election Day. Polls will be open until 8 pm on this day. If you are using a secure drop-off box or bringing your completed ballot to a Voter Services Office, you must do so by 8 p.m. on November 2.

Secure Ballot Drop Boxes

Eleven secure ballot drop boxes will be available starting on October 16 for residents to drop off completed mail-in ballots and absentee ballots. Ballots placed in the secure ballot boxes will be delivered daily to Montgomery County Voter Services by County sheriffs, and date stamped when they are received.  Please note: Springfield Administration and Library are NOT secure ballot drop box locations. Election Day Closures and Trash Pickup

Trash, recycling and leaf waste will be collected on November 2nd, 2021. However, Springfield Administration and Library will be closed on this day. Both the Administration and Library will reopen November 3rd.
