SURVEY (1) (1)

We Want to Hear from You!

Springfield Township's Parks and Recreation Department and Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee is conducting a Township wide survey on recreational needs in the Township.

Springfield Township plans to use the survey results to gain feedback from residents and non-residents on existing parks and recreation programs/services. This feedback will also assist with current and future Parks and Recreation planning efforts.

The recreational needs survey will run between Thursday, June 23rd and Friday, August 19th.

Goals of the Survey:

  1. Determine the amenities Township residents need vs. want.
  2. Determine recreation needs and priorities of the general population.
  3. Determine which demographics are being underserved in the community.
  4. Utilize the survey data for future park and program planning.

Recreational Needs Survey

The Springfield Township Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) is a volunteer group of residents appointed by the Board of Commissioners to advise Township officials on the goals and objectives of the Township's parks and recreation programs and serves as a sounding board for the recreational needs of our residents. PRAC meets on the first Wednesday of every month (except July and August) at 6:30 pm at the Springfield Township Administration Building. Their meetings are open to the public and residents are welcome to attend!
