Springfield Township's Student Snow Shoveler Registry for the 2025-2026 year is now available!
This program connects local students with residents who may need assistance shoveling snow and gives our young neighbors a chance to earn some extra money when the snow starts falling. Students set their own rates, and payment is handled privately between the shoveler and the homeowner. To view the list electronically, click the link below. Otherwise, residents may pick up a physical copy at the Township Administration Building during normal business hours.

Reminders for residents as the flakes begin to fall...
The Township kindly reminds residents that all sidewalks must be cleared of snow and ice by the abutting property owner within 24 hours after snow has stopped falling. Please remember that it is against the law to throw and/or shovel snow into or upon any road or street in the Township.
Winter storms often hide fire hydrants under snow and ice, making them difficult to access quickly. If you have a fire hydrant located on or near your property, please consider clearing a 3 foot perimeter around the fire hydrant in order to allow firefighters access to the fire hydrant in an emergency situation.
