Monday Refuse/Recycle Collection Postponed
Trash and recycle collection for Monday, January 26th has been cancelled and postponed to the following business day. Both Monday and Tuesday trash and recycle collection routes will have trash/recycle collection on Tuesday, January 27th. As a reminder, leaf and yard waste collection is suspended during January and February. If leaf bags are currently at the curb, please pull them back to prevent freezing.
Plowing Operations
We appreciate residents’ patience as our Public Works crews work diligently to clear snow and ice from Township roadways. Plowing operations are conducted as efficiently and safely as possible; however, snow removal can result in temporary snow berms at the ends of driveways. While we understand this can be frustrating, these conditions are unavoidable during active plowing and crews are unable to return to clear individual driveways while working to keep roads safe for all motorists and emergency vehicles. We also remind residents that placing snow back into the street is prohibited, as it creates hazardous conditions and slows ongoing snow removal efforts. Your cooperation and understanding are essential to keeping our community safe during winter weather events.
If you need help shoveling your sidewalk or driveway, the Township solicits the local Middle and High Schools for a list of students who will, for a fee, shovel snow from walks and driveways. The consolidated list may be picked up from the Township Administration Building or will be mailed upon request. The "business" arrangement is then made between the resident and student that he or she chooses to employ. Click here for the Student Snow Shovel Registry.
Township Administration/Library Closed
For the safety of our staff and the general public, the Township Administration and Library buildings are closed January 26, 2026. The Administration Building will reopen at 8AM and the Library will reopen at 9AM on Tuesday, January 27th.
Please note: The Zoning Hearing Board meeting scheduled for January 26th at 7PM will continue as planned.
