Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) - Public Notice
Notice is hereby given by that the Springfield Township Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL)/Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) for Wissahickon Creek, Sandy Run, and unnamed tributaries to the Schuylkill River has been completed and is available for public review on the Township website (below) and by request at the Township Building at 1510 Paper Mill Road, Wyndmoor, PA 19038.
Written comments will be accepted for a period of 30 days from the date of this notice. Verbal and written comments will also be accepted during the Board of Commissioners meeting on April 6, 2026 at 7:00pm.
The PRP describes proposed projects to be taken to reduce sediment and nutrient pollution to Wissahickon Creek, Sandy Run, and unnamed tributaries to the Schuylkill River within Springfield Township, as required by the Township’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit.
