TOWNSHIP OFFICES & FREE LIBRARY CLOSED
Springfield Township offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026 in observance of Independence Day. This closure includes the Free Library of Springfield Township. The Library will also be closed on July 4th and 5th, in accordance with their summer hours. The Library's Book Drop will also be closed during these dates as well.
MODIFIED TRASH & LEAF COLLECTION
There will be no refuse, recycling, or leaf waste collection on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Trash, recycle and leaf waste regularly scheduled for Friday collection will be picked up on Monday, July 6, 2026. There could be a slight delay in leaf waste pickup. In the event that leaf waste on the Friday route is not collected on Monday, residents should leave their leaf waste out at the curb until it is collected.
Thursday, July 2nd trash collection will continue as normal. However, the Administration building will close early at 2pm and the Library will close early at 7pm on this day.
