Oreland Independence Day Parade

The annual Independence Day Parade is returning to Oreland on July 4th, 2026 beginning at 10:00 AM. This parade will feature many exciting attractions and performances for residents to enjoy. The Board of Commissioners encourages all Township residents to come out and celebrate the birth of our nation!

American 250

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Montgomery County Commissioners have sponsored a $500 grant to purchase special 250th anniversary flags that will be given out at the Independence Day parade.

Parade Route

The Oreland Lions Club, together with the Oreland Volunteer Fire Company, will celebrate Independence Day with a parade that will begin at 10 AM at Twining Road and Wischman Avenue in Upper Dublin Township.  The parade will cross into Springfield Township at Bridge Street approximately 30 minutes later, where it will proceed to Bruce Road, Allison Road and Lyster Road. The parade will conclude at approximately 11:30 AM at Marlow Field with refreshments and awards presented by the Lions Club.  See the below graphic for a detailed parade route.
