CAAA is the designated ambulance provider for all of Springfield Township and is responsible for responding to emergency calls to thousands of households 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year!
Like countless other organizations across the nation, 2020 has been particularly difficult in light of COVID-19. Due to the pandemic, CAAA has seen a substantial increase in expenses to provide adequate PPE, supplies, training, and medical supplies. These supplies are essential to providing care and protecting not only CAAA crews but also the residents they serve when responding to emergency calls.
As a nonprofit, CAAA relies on voluntary support from donors, businesses, individuals and municipalities in addition to fees charged for services to provide the staff, ambulances, medical equipment and training needed on a daily basis. CAAA does not benefit from a dedicated tax and hosts an annual membership drive each fall to support ongoing operations. Your support helps provide ambulances, medication, equipment and so much more that helps the community, friends, and relatives to receive the life support required during a time of need.
