The Springfield Township Police Department is collecting non-perishable food items in support of Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services for Thanksgiving dinners for families in financial hardship. Donations can be dropped off at the Springfield Township Police Department, 1510 Paper Mill Road, Monday-Friday between 8:00AM and 5:00PM.
Suggested Donation Items
STPD is seeking non-perishable food items such as:
- Canned green beans
- Canned corn
- Canned sweet potatoes/yams
- Canned turkey gravy
- Canned cranberry sauce
- Boxed instant mashed potatoes
- Biscuit/cornbread mix
- Boxed or bagged stuffing mix
- Boxed dessert mixes
Giant or Acme gift cards from $10-$15 are also needed, to be used by the families to purchase a turkey.
