Springfield Township is working with Cheltenham Township, the City of Philadelphia, and Montgomery County to conduct a study of the Paper Miil Rd to Ogontz Avenue section of the Cheltenham Avenue corridor. The study aims to identify improvements that enhance safety and accessibility for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders, and all roadway users.
Residents can participate at the public open houses to learn about the project, meet the team, and help shape the future of the corridor. The second open house is held right here at the Springfield Township Building (1510 Paper Mill Rd) on Thursday, May 28th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. This will be meeting #2 of the open houses where you will be reviewing the study findings and provide input on recommended improvements.
The first open house is on Tuesday, April 14th at the Wadsworth Library (1500 E Wadsworth Avenue) from 5:00pm - 6:45pm. At this open house, you will be invited to learn about the project, express your concerns, and discuss potential opportunities for improvements.
